There is a saying "To have a good friend, you need to be a good friend."
How can you be a good friend?
As far as I am concerned, the best way to be a good friend is that I see him or her as often as I can. The more we see each other, the more we talk and the more we can have in common. It would be better to see each other at night because it is good time to be frank enough to reveal our secrets. We have ups and downs in our relationship, but it will be stronger because of those rainy days.

I totally agree on your opinion about friendship. I guess real friends will always be around you. It's hard for me to define friendship, but I try to understand the meanings of the two English proverbs everybody knows. 1. A friend in need is a friend indeed. 2. A best friend is someone who loves you when you forget to love yourself.
